PURGIT is experienced in delivering nitrogen

Small nitrogen requirements for nitrogen gas are best served with cylinders. A typical large cylinder can hold about 230 cubic feet of gas if it has 2,200 psi.

For larger requirements, it is best to get a 6 pack or 12 pack. These are banks with the gas cylinders mounted in a frame. The cylinders are connected with a single manifold. The strong advantage of cylinders is that the nitrogen will stay in them for years. And it will always be ready to go in an instant (if the valves work).

For larger quantities, a dewer may be appropriate. Dewers hold liquid nitrogen. A 180 liter dewer may have 5,000 cubic feet. The disadvantage of liquid nitrogen is that it is a perishable commodity. It will vaporize and excape from the dewars over a short period of time. It may all be gone in 3 weeks if the dewars are left in the hot sun.

Nitrogen tank truck trailers can hold about 500,000 cubic feet, and they are expensive to rent and the nitrogen is always escaping due to boil-off, approximately 2% to 5% per day.

Nitrogen fixed tanks on concrete pads are some what better than tank trucks, but they are always venting boil-off gas at about  2% to 5% per day.

An option is a nitrogen generator. They make nitrogen gas out of air. They are some what expensive to purchase and they require an air compressor, but they make nitrogen when you want it, and there is no expense or loss when they are turned off. It is interesting that the feed material for the nitrogen generators is diesel fuel or electricity to run the air compressor.
