This unit was
built to vaporize CO2 and cryogenic liquids. We have used it
to vaporize liquid CO2 as well as liquid
nitrogen, butane and ethylene. The heater is a propane fired hot water
type. It has
been logged at 70# per minute of CO2
continuous flow and over 100# per minute for 2 minutes with 300 psi
inlet and 50 deg. F outlet temperature.
The heat exchangers are SS on the cargo side and are rated at 350psi.
The control circuit is governed by a compressed air control valve. The
control loop has relief valves and step down pressure regulators.
The heat
exchanger, pumps and hot water heater are on a single skid.
The electric pump motors are 110/220 VAC and require less than 20 amps.
We have a 6,000 watt commercial propane powered
generator that will run the
pumps on a separate skid.
The generator skid has 3 pcs -100 gallon DOT propane tanks that can run
the generator and can supply power to the vaporizer heater for 2 weeks
or more.
